Bodegas Ruiz de Viñaspre, located in Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa), is housed in a very modern building in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria. The building, with unbeatable views of the Ebro Valley and with the Sierra de la Demanda in the background, is equipped with the most up to date wine-making technology, it being possible to control the whole process at all times, from wine production to bottling.
The Winery has 36 different sized deposits, from 50,000 litres to 300 litres, in steel and French oak wood, which makes it possible to work exactly with the wine, with respect to both quantity, micro vinification, and quality. There is full temperature control, the latest cooling system, and the Ganimede steel tank system that permits the extraction of aromas and colour to their highest expression.
The building has its own laboratory, where all the production and aging processes are analysed, as well as monitoring of the 580 French and American oak barrels. Loyal at all times to Rioja Alavesa procedures.
The Project originated with the philosophy of producing wines of the highest quality, improving on the line followed so far in the classic Rioja wines, as well as other selections aimed at the hotel and restaurant sector, wine bars etc. To do this, it created a team that combines experience and youth in the current world of winemaking.
